At Direct IT, we believe that corporate social responsibility (CSR) is not just a trendy trend, but an integral part of our mission and operations. From the very beginning, we have focused on supporting local communities and protecting the environment, fully utilizing our technological resources to drive real change.

One of the key pillars of our work is supporting those in difficult circumstances. We donate equipment to those in need by organizing collections of computers and laptops, which, after being properly prepared and repaired, are distributed to those who need them most. This isn’t just financial assistance—it’s also a step toward reducing e-waste, a crucial element of our environmental protection strategy. This allows us to give devices a second life while minimizing their negative impact on the environment.
Engaging in CSR not only benefits our beneficiaries but also strengthens our image in the eyes of customers, investors, and local communities. Our pro-social and pro-environmental activities build trust, which translates into increased loyalty and attracting new business partners. We believe that companies that conduct their business with environmental and social impact have a greater chance of success. Furthermore, through our initiatives, we inspire our partners to undertake similar activities, thus strengthening business relationships and jointly striving to achieve social goals.
Employee motivation and engagement
Our commitment to CSR also has a profound impact on our employees. Knowing that the company they work for actively supports communities and cares for the environment builds their engagement and loyalty. According to the PwC Young Poles in the Job Market Report, as many as 65.5% of young people research a potential future employer’s values before submitting an application and seek information on specific actions taken in this regard. Nearly half of those surveyed – 49.9% – research the company’s social responsibility. For young people, the most important values are the natural environment, entrepreneurship, and diversity (support for minorities).
The pillars of our CSR activities
One of the key aspects of Direct IT’s involvement is helping people with health problems, those affected by poverty, and those in difficult life situations, such as children in orphanages or under psychological care following the death of a parent or parents, in hospices, and those affected by armed conflicts and wars.
Our pro-social commitment extends beyond donating IT equipment to those in need, but we also encourage our business partners to donate unused computers and laptops to those in need.
Our actions also aim to support the natural environment. Unused IT equipment constitutes electronic waste, a very serious problem in the modern world.
We engage our employees in pro-social and pro-environmental initiatives.
We donate IT equipment to those in need by organizing collections of computers and laptops, which we repair and distribute to local communities and refugees from war-affected Ukraine. We encourage participation in charity fundraisers, such as the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. We support children fleeing war zones by providing them with access to technology, crucial for education and integration. We repair, configure, and deliver equipment, even if it’s broken, to those in need. Direct IT engages people in pro-social activities, helping to reduce the amount of electronic waste and its negative impact on the environment.
Engagement of colleagues and business partners
However, we don’t limit ourselves to internal initiatives. We also encourage our business partners to join in pro-social initiatives. Through collaborative efforts, such as organizing IT equipment collection drives, we can make a real difference in improving the lives of many people while simultaneously reducing the amount of electronic waste, a growing problem in today’s world.

Family Children’s Home No. 4 in Poznań
On the occasion of Children’s Day, the children of the Home received three computers.
June 2023
wojtusiaki.pl Foundation
42 computers with monitors, received from Allianz Trade to help families from Ukraine, prepared for use by Direct IT and supplemented with keyboards and mice through the wojtusiaki.pl Foundation, were handed over to refugees.
December 2022
Caritas Poznań
Computers were donated to Ukrainian refugees at the reception desk run by Caritas Poznań at the Poznań International Fair. They will be used in the registration area, at the information desk, medical center, and for CV creation. Plans also include opening two language learning rooms equipped with Direct IT equipment.

Caritas Poznań
The donation of equipment collected during a collection drive organized by Direct IT to the reception point for refugees from Ukraine run by Caritas Poznań, which made the facility operational. Direct IT handled the technical configuration of the computers, preparing them for further use, and also provided any necessary repairs.

Direct IT client, Caspar – Inwestujemy Globalnie, donated two multifunctional devices to charity, one of them – through Direct IT – was donated to the Lepszy Świat Association, and the other to the Motyle Association for a hospice.

Direct IT collected dozens of tablets and two desktop computers as part of its own fundraising campaign for refugees from Ukraine and donated them to the Lepszy Świat Association. The devices were distributed to families under the Association’s care.

Stowarzyszenie Motyle dla hospicjum, Hospicjum Palium
Direct IT, with the support of its clients, has been helping children under the care of the Motyle dla Hospicjum (Butterflies for Hospice) association since 2020. During the pandemic, the company managed to prepare and provide the children with the necessary number of desktop computers and laptops for remote learning.

Direct IT organized a fundraiser that collected equipment, which was then donated to the Social Emergency Service on Borówki Street in Poznań. Direct IT handled the technical configuration of the computers, preparing them for further use, and also provided necessary repairs. The equipment was used by refugees from Ukraine under the care of the Emergency Service.

Direct IT donated two computers to the residents of the St. Brother Albert Aid Society homeless shelter in Poznań.
